Perched at the corner of Bokarina Boulevard and Longboard Parade with ocean views to match, Bocca Italian is one of the Sunshine Coast’s most acclaimed Italian restaurants and the team behind it has the credentials to back it up designed for sharing with a selection of Antipasti, Pizza and Pasta..
Co-owner Tony Percuoco opened the iconic Stokehouse Brisbane and has built some of the Coast’s most beloved food brands. Executive Chef Harry Lilai brings 30 years of experience including a decade running Cecconi’s in Melbourne. Head Chef Rob Bredhauer comes via Bianca Brisbane. This isn’t a casual neighbourhood pizza joint, it’s a serious kitchen that just happens to sit by the beach.
The menu is designed for sharing, with hand-stretched pizza from an imported Moretti oven, fresh pasta, salumi boards, breads and cheeses, and Italian classics done with genuine craft. Standout dishes include Osso Buco, Polpette with flatbread, and the limoncello meringue, a dessert that earns its own reputation. The cocktail list is built by an accomplished bar manager, with Italian-inspired spritzes and sours alongside the house espresso martini.
The space seats 130 across indoor bar and kitchen dining, an alfresco terrace, and a private room for 14; ideal for celebrations, corporate dinners, or anything worth marking with a good bottle of wine.
Gluten-free and vegetarian options available. Bookings and walk-ins both welcome. Open seven days from 11am.
