Founded in 2016 by Sunshine Coast locals, Brouhaha Brewery began in the hinterland of Maleny and has grown into one of Queensland’s most respected independent craft beer operations. The Baringa Production House at 1 Edison Crescent serves the broader Caloundra area and is the main production facility, housing a custom-designed 35-hectolitre brewhouse visible through the two-level taproom.
With 16 taps across the taproom floor, the beer offering spans Brouhaha’s seven core range styles alongside seasonal and limited releases that reward regular visits. The beverage programme extends beyond beer to include beer-inspired cocktails, artisan spirits and Queensland wine. Food at Baringa centres on a bar snack menu of beer pretzels and cheese boards, with weekend food trucks rotating Friday to Sunday for more substantial eating.
The venue is family-friendly with a dedicated air-conditioned kids room called Squealers, complete with electronic games, air hockey and basketball, and is pet-friendly outdoors. Brewery tours are available for groups wanting to go deeper into the process.
