Happy Valley (Picnic Areas)

Beach Access points 293 – 295. This is a patrolled ocean between Happy Valley Beach proper and Kings Beach, currently has large sand bars exposed at low tide with many shallow pools ideal for young children to wade in. The foreshore is generally protected from large surf. Clarke Place Park on the foreshore has a large playground, public amenities and plenty of picnic areas. At the northern end is the Happy Valley Boardwalk to Kings Beach. This is a popular beach for ceremonies with spectacular views and generally calmer conditions than the open beaches.
