Two mates. A blue futon. A couple of cold beers and an idea that turned into one of the most beloved craft breweries on the Sunshine Coast. Your Mates Brewing Co. started with exactly that in 2015, and the dream that grew from those early gypsy brewing days is now very much alive and well at 41 Technology Drive, Warana. The BrewPub is the home base, the heartbeat of the operation and one of the best places to spend a few hours on the Sunshine Coast regardless of whether you care deeply about craft beer or simply want a good time.
The tap list runs the full Your Mates range alongside a rotating lineup of limited releases and experimental styles brewed on site, including the legendary Larry Australian Pale Ale, the crisp Macca Helles Lager and the bold Sir Walter IPA. Behind the bar there are also cocktails at prices that make ordering one mid-session a completely sensible decision. The full kitchen pumps out burgers, parmy, battered pickles, bangers and mash, fresh seafood and a kids’ menu with dedicated play area that makes it as welcoming for families as it is for groups and after-work crowds.
The weekly specials program gives regulars a reason to come in across every day of the week: kids eat free on Mondays, Trivia Night on Tuesdays, $24 Rib Night on Wednesdays, Parmy Night on Thursdays and Spritzers and $1 Wings from 3pm on Sundays. Live music fills the schedule regularly, and Feel Good Fridays kick off the weekend in exactly the way the name suggests.
With capacity for events from 35 to 300 people across two epic spaces, free venue hire and behind-the-scenes brewery tours, Your Mates BrewPub is equally at home as a casual local and a full event destination.
