Drift Bar occupies a prime position on The Esplanade at Bulcock Beach, inside the Rumba Resort at 30 The Esplanade, with glass-panelled views across the Pumicestone Passage and beach and a venue design that makes the most of every sunset.
The kitchen spans the full day, from café classics at breakfast through to burgers, fish and chips and toasties at lunch, and into pizza, pasta and substantial mains at dinner. The chicken skewers with roti, pumpkin arancini and steak sandwich with horseradish have all drawn individual praise from regulars. The bar runs a solid cocktail list, craft beer and wine through to late, with live music adding to the atmosphere on regular evenings throughout the week.
