Launched in 2017 by local duo Jonny and Gavin, Kings Beach Bar has grown from a single beachfront vision into a recognised multi-venue brand across the Sunshine Coast, with the Kings Beach original remaining the flagship. The food menu moves from breakfast through to dinner, with a creative, share-friendly approach that runs well beyond standard beach bar territory. Standout dishes include pumpkin and halloumi fritters with labneh and harissa, chicken dumplings with ponzu and chilli oil, calamari with wasabi pea furikake and kaffir lime aioli, and satay chicken with coconut rice and roti. The cocktail list, along with cold beer and a wine selection, makes this as much a drinks destination as a dining one.
Live music runs Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm and Sunday afternoons from 4pm, making Kings Beach Bar a natural choice for a long, unhurried afternoon by the water.
